We are Jim Waddick and Jim Murrain, The Jims’ to our friends. We are passionate about family, friends, gardening, cooking, movies, photography, reading, music, and pets. We live just outside Kansas City, Missouri, USA  near the small river town of Parkville.  We also have a farm of 82 acres in Allen County Kansas, about 100 miles south.

    We chose the name Prairie Views for several reasons, the first as an homage to the area we live, where Prairieview Road is a major byway. The second is the fact that we live at the edge of the prairie and the farm is actually on the prairie. Third, we added views because as you will discover we are both quite opinionated. However we are not dogmatic and can be swayed by a well reasoned argument.
